Brete – Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

 

 

Welcome to Brete (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading or using the Brete mobile application (the “App”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

 

Brete is a community platform for sharing user-generated stories, opinions, and experiences (“User Content”). We do notverify or guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness, or legality of any content posted by users.

 

You agree that all content in Brete is for entertainment and cultural purposes only and should not be relied upon as factual, verified, or endorsed by us.

 

 

 

2. Content Responsibility

 

 

By submitting any content to Brete, you agree and confirm that:

 

  • You are the creator or have obtained the necessary permissions to post it.

  • You have consent from any person identifiable in your post (including names, photos, or voices).

  • Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights, including privacy, copyright, or trademark.

  • Your content does not contain false, defamatory, threatening, hateful, or illegal material.

 

 

You understand that:

 

  • Brete does not verify or fact-check content before it appears in the app.

  • You are fully responsible for the content you post and for any legal or personal consequences that result from it.

  • Brete and its team are not liable for damages or disputes arising from user-submitted content.

 

 

 

 

3. User Conduct

 

 

While using Brete, you agree not to:

 

  • Impersonate another person or upload content without their consent.

  • Post private or identifying information (addresses, phone numbers, etc.).

  • Use the platform to harass, defame, threaten, or attack anyone.

  • Post or share false, misleading, or illegal material.

  • Attempt to hack, manipulate, or disrupt the App or its servers.

 

 

We may remove or restrict access to any content or account that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion.

 

 

 

4. Reporting & Moderation

 

 

Brete values a safe and respectful community.

 

  • If you believe content violates your privacy, is harmful, or infringes your rights, you can report it directly in-app or contact us at support@breteapp.com.

  • We review reports and may remove or restrict content or accounts when necessary.

  • Users may also block other users to prevent seeing their posts.

  • We reserve the right to remove content without notice or explanation if it violates our standards or Apple’s App Store policies.

 

 

 

 

5. Content License

 

 

By posting content on Brete, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with the App and its features.

 

This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except to the extent copies may remain in backups or where legally required.

 

We do not claim ownership of your content.

 

 

 

6. Disclaimer on Content Accuracy

 

 

You acknowledge that:

 

  • Brete does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any User Content.

  • Content may be fictional, humorous, exaggerated, or based on opinion.

  • All information in the App is provided “as is,” for entertainment and community purposes only.

 

 

Use your own discretion when reading, sharing, or responding to posts in Brete.

 

 

 

7. Privacy & Personal Information

 

 

Brete respects your privacy.

Our Privacy Policy (available in the app and on our website) explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

 

By using Brete, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

 

 

 

8. Content Removal Requests

 

 

If you appear in a post and believe it violates your rights or contains false or harmful material, you may request removal by emailing support@breteapp.com.

Please include a clear description or link to the content. We review all legitimate requests promptly and may remove or restrict the content as appropriate.

 

 

 

9. License to Use the App

 

 

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use Brete in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

 

  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute content from Brete without permission.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our code or systems.

  • Use Brete for unlawful or commercial purposes without our consent.

 

 

 

 

10. Age Requirement

 

 

Brete is intended for users 18 years or older.

By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

 

 

 

11. Limitation of Liability

 

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

 

  • Brete and its affiliates are not liable for damages, losses, or disputes arising from user content or actions.

  • We are not responsible for emotional, reputational, or financial harm caused by content posted by users.

  • The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied.

 

 

You use Brete at your own discretion and risk.

 

 

 

12. Termination

 

 

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the App if we believe you’ve violated these Terms or any applicable law. You may also stop using Brete at any time by deleting the App or your account.

 

 

 

13. Changes to These Terms

 

 

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted in the App.

By continuing to use Brete after changes are published, you agree to the updated Terms.
